St Ives Weekender - Day 1 - Pilgrimage

This is the first walk of our St Ives weekender. Around 30 of us will be staying near St. Ives for the weekend. This walk is a moderate 13 miles and is being led by The Kate Turner.

This walk is a satisfying coast to coast walk (St Michael's Way) and is also part of the Camino de Santiago. A vast network of trails in Europe leads to St James’ Cathedral in Santiago de Compostela, northern Spain. And with roots dating back to pre-historic times between 10,000BC and 410AD, it has been followed by missionaries and pilgrims for thousands of years.

It should be a nice leisurely walk back from the southern Cornish coast to the northern Cornish coast.

Please note: The walk is linear and will be ending in St Ives so anyone else joining us will need to make their own transport arrangements.
