📍 Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens
💷 £95 per person (includes lunch and full garden entry)
Join foraging guide and author Rachel Lambert for a day of discovery and creativity at Tremenheere. This hands-on workshop explores how familiar wild and garden plants can be transformed into strong, beautiful cordage - simple strands with endless potential for crafting, repairing, and mindful making.
The day begins with a gentle walk through the Gardens and surrounding landscape, identifying and gathering plants suitable for fibre making. You’ll then learn how to process, twist and weave your finds into usable threads, trying your hand at cordage made from four different plants.
A relaxed lunch at Tremenheere Kitchen is included, with time to share ideas and stories before returning to the craft. If the weather turns, the workshop continues indoors, ensuring a creative and comfortable experience throughout.
Rachel Lambert has been leading foraging walks and wildcrafting workshops across Cornwall since 2007, bringing warmth, depth of knowledge, and a deep respect for the natural world to her teaching.
Spaces are limited - early booking is essential. This is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, connect with nature, and take home something beautiful made entirely by hand.
