What is a sound bath?
It’s a deeply relaxing full body experience using sound to nurture your body and soul and quiet your mind.
The experience begins with each person lying down or seated in a comfortable position, often with a blanket and an eye mask. After a few minutes of guided focus on the breath, the remainder of the experience is filled with different sounds and frequencies being introduced in succession. The sounds are created by a variety of sound creation tools, including Himalayan and Crystal Singing Bowls, Drums, Gongs, Kochi chimes, Chinese medicine balls, various rattles, shakers and small chimes.
The Gong and other sound creation tools are incredibly powerful instruments that work with frequency and vibrations, particularly good for those who find it hard to find to meditate. This practice is a great reliever of stress, anxiety, sleep disorders and helps with focus and creativity.
There are a few contra-indications that are worth bringing to your attention. These include.
Not suitable for ladies in the first trimester of pregnancy, people with pacemakers or other implants, i.e. stents and shunts, those suffering from serious heart conditions, acute or serious mental health problems, or those who may suffer from sound-induced epilepsy.
Here are a few of our reviews . . .
“1 hour 30 mins flew by with the most mysterious sounds created by Anderson as you lay on back with a blanket and lavender eye pillow… sinking into a meditative state… Soooo relaxing and omg we’ve slept like babies and woken up like we’ve slept all week!!!! Highly recommended… Thank you! Anderson Knight is doing the rounds in Cornwall this spring. Incredible experience!! Book it!!!”
“I am just back from my first of Anderson’s sound baths and I am very very much hoping it won’t be my last. I’ve attended a few others before so I had an idea what to expect and that every experience is unique but I am so pleased I ventured out in a stormy evening because it was a much needed nervous system reset and I’m now setting the intention to attend monthly through 2025 if I can make the venues. In this extremely fast paced world, with its stresses and pressures and challenges, to be transported in this way, and transcend all the chaos, it’s precious precious time! Thank you so much Anderson. Highly highly recommended 🙏🏻💗🙏🏻”
“We had such a lovely immersive and restorative experience on Sunday afternoon at the freshly decorated and accessible Tresillian Village Hall. Good acoustics too, supporting the impressive range of beautifully crafted gongs. Anderson is clearly passionate and knowledgeable in his craft, all skilfully delivered, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My first time but won't be my last...highly recommended!.”
