We’re incredibly proud to be hosting this event in memory of the wonderful Zoe, who we sadly lost last year. She is deeply missed by all who knew her.
Zoe was a true inspiration. When she signed up for The Lakesman triathlon, she had never done a triathlon before and could barely swim more than 50 meters of front crawl without stopping and yet, she was preparing for a 1900-meter swim! But Zoe wasn’t fazed. With her trademark determination, she showed up to training, made rapid progress and soon it was clear she had an unstoppable spirit. Her drive, passion and enthusiasm carried her through and she completed the Lakesman with pride — and perhaps a little relief! It was an unforgettable moment to see her cross that finish line!
Zoe leaves behind her loving husband and two amazing children, who continue to make her proud every day. She spent her final weeks Eden Valley Hospice, creating special memories with her family and friends in a place filled with care and compassion.
This event was Zoe’s first, so it feels especially meaningful to return to Greystoke Swimming Pool to celebrate her life. We’ll be raising funds for @Eden Valley Hospice while having fun and challenging ourselves in her memory. Thanks to the generous sponsorship from Zoe’s colleagues Cartmell Shepherd Solicitors 100% of entry fees will go directly to the Hospice.
