We look forward to our 3 speakers participating with us this year.
First we will have Lisa Martin from the National Center for Biblical Parenting who will be our Keynote Speaker and also lead our Elementary Breakout Session. Lisa Martin is a pastor’s wife and mother of three, who has spent the past thirty years in full-time ministry to children, youth, and families in urban settings. She has a bachelor’s degree in Christian education from Lancaster Bible College, and currently she serves as the children’s ministry director at her church in Philadelphia. Lisa has trained through the National Center for Biblical Parenting as both a parenting coach and seminar presenter. She loves to come alongside parents and support them in their journey by teaching them how to parent the hearts of their children as well as providing practical tools for how to do so.
Lisa will be sharing several parenting tools that can be used to parent the hearts of our children. Some of the tools discussed include relationships, firmness, visioning, teaching, prayer, coaching, and transferring responsibility.
Her breakout session will be directed towards how to invest spiritually in your elementary age children.
Margaret Kelly will be leading our PreSchool breakout session. Margaret was the Director of St. Peters Nursery School for 15 years and has over 30 years of PreSchool Ministry experience. Margaret and her husband have 2 adult children who grew up here at Central and are now both married.
Dave and Lynn Buschman will be leading our teenage/young adult Breakout session. The Bushman's have almost 30 years of parenting experience. Dave is a college ministry chaplain at Princeton University. They have 2 adult children, both married and 4 granddaughters.
