Tabby Tree Fiber Arts presents Beginning Spinning on a Wheel!

Have you been wanting to try spinning, but never had the chance? Now is the time! Nelly will help you with the first steps in what may become the journey of a lifetime. Spinning is a productive hobby, but is also a very meditative and soothing experience. It is a way to connect to the raw materials of our very lives, the fibers that make the clothes we wear and use every day. We will get you started spinning on a modern wheel, and will discuss and experience some of the common fibers textile artists (as in, anyone who creates handmade textiles) use most. Don't miss this opportunity to try your hand at spinning!
