Beginning Weaving

This class is geared towards absolute beginners who wish to learn to weave on a 4 or 8 shaft floor loom. It is also great for anyone needing a refresher! This class covers all of the essential foundational skills needed for weaving. You will:

Learn to plan a project and measure out a warp for weaving

Learn to dress the loom

Learn to read weaving drafts

Learn to weave basic weave structures, including plain weave and various simple twills

Learn how to wet finish your project
