Yemaya's Feast Day 2025
Pray Her waters keep flowing.
For a year, 2024 to present, we have been blessed by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Birmingham and CUUPS, to celebrated the most well-known ATR Gods & Goddesses, the 7 African Powers, from Papa Legba to Shango, from Oshun to Oya, via CrossRoads Spiritual Lounge and caring members of the Social Society of Nyame Dua.
We have shared our talents and fears with each other. We have learned that there are infinite paths to the top of the mountain and ALL spiritual paths have knowledge to reveal.
Most importantly, we have RESPECTED each other!
CUUPS & CrossRoads Spiritual Lounge, w/ Auntie Lis, are hosting Yemaya's Feast Day 2025, welcome you to participate in the joy & our eclectic community.
Join us, as we honor Yemaya and celebrate the Great Mother of ALL with Food, Crafts and Drumming!
In the African Traditional Religion (ATR) the Orisha are celebrated, from Yoruba, Condomble, Santeria, Luccumi to Voudoun and more. Ifa connects them all, with the focus on accountability, self-improvement and the Power of Self.
Feast Days are one of the many celebrations that are used to honor the African Gods.
Yemayas Feast Day pays homage to the Goddess of Life, Existence and the continuous flows of her waters.
Let us celebrate, Yemaya, Mother of ALL!
Asé!
With arms wide open, ALL are welcome!
ALL are Family!
Blessings, Love and Understanding,
Auntie Lis
