Emotions vs. Truth: The Battle for Your Soul - A Writing Workshop

In today’s culture, “how I feel” often takes precedence over objective truth, shaping the way we communicate, make decisions, and understand ourselves. While this emotionally driven perspective may align with modern ideals of self-expression, it can also lead to confusion, instability, and emotional fatigue.

In this interactive writing workshop, Chris Craft invites participants to explore the complex relationship between emotion and truth through the written word. Using guided writing exercises, group discussion, and personal reflection, attendees will examine how feelings and facts intersect in their own narratives—both in recovery and in everyday life.

Participants will:

Engage in reflective journaling to uncover how emotional reasoning influences personal stories and decision-making.

Develop tools to apply these insights not only in writing, but in leadership, communication, and personal growth.
