Hidden Beaches of the West Coast

Join Walking Mann this coming Saturday as we take a walk along the west coast to visit two of the island less frequented beaches.
We will be meeting in the public car park on the Switchback Road at 11am and following the road down and onto the main coast road. From here we walk down to our first beach of Whitestrand. This beach has golden sand and fantastic coastal views.
After a short break we then continue along the old railway lines and out to our second beach at Gob y Deigan. With it being low tide you will have the opportunity to walk through to the hidden caves and into the secluded coves.
After stopping for lunch we then cross the main road and continue down the Staavey Road before reaching the greenway that helps us make our return.
Time permitting on our return we also have the opportunity to visit the Tholtan of Upper Lhergydhoo.
This 7 mile moderate route is priced at £10 per person (payable on the day) and courtesy transport options are available on request.
