Dear Dancers,
Many of us are feeling devastated and helpless by the horrors being committed in Palestine and other parts of the world.

In a special collaboration with the very talented local band; Zimbro, we have an opportunity to dance together , flow through our emotional responses in movement and be reminded that we aren't alone in our grief.
****
The invitation is to come together to dance whatever you are feeling, honour what is arising and if it feels right to put an intention of peace behind your dance.
****
It is my deep belief that that for peace to be possible we as humans need to be connected to our bodies and emotions and to really FEEL that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.
****
This weekend would have traditionally marked the first harvest, a time to honour the abundance of the Earth and express gratitude for the gifts of nature; the festival of Lughnasadh/Lammas by coming together in community and sharing gifts.
****
With the above in my mind we will have a Lammas' shrine in the corner if you wish to bring a token or offering of produce from garden/allotment to express your gratitude for the abundance that nature offers up.

All profits from this event will be gifted to Medical Aid for Palestine.

**Structure**
We will begin with slowly sinking into our body awareness with gentle suggestions and offerings of dance imagery to play with.

Zimbro will then gift us their musical talents by playing us some live beats to warm us up before we settle into the usual ecstatic dance journey.
****
We will finish with a short loving kindness meditation.
