In the spring of 2017, after spending the better part of the prior few years touring the country with their twee pop outlet Kitten Crisis, Kyle Hall and Anthony Manning decided to go in a slightly different direction that blossomed into The Cherry Tops.They went on a long, summer, west coast tour, and then spent some years together in Iowa City, playing a handful of shows up through 2020.In the years that followed, Kyle Anthony continued to write, and the stars have finally aligned for them to be back in the world, sharing a love of rock 'n' roll and accessibility with beloved music scenes across the world. 2025 will see the return of The Cherry Tops, marking their first release in 8 years and first performances in 5 years.
