Nan Rae Brush Painting Workshop

We are pleased to invite you to a special brush painting workshop on Saturday June 21 where you can learn how to paint one of the Four Gentlemen/Four Seasons of Brush painting - the Bamboo - under the guidance of renowned Artist Nan Rae. Her style is based on the Literati or Gentlemen Scholars of ancient China conveying the Chinese saying “from heart to arm… to hand to brush… to paper.” Combining the grace of the Literati style with an impressionist approach to color Nan will also be painting the Poppy and the King of All Flowers – the Peony.
