Grab your 5 gallon buckets, shovels, and gardening gloves! Come join the @Washington Elementary Garden Committee as we fill our new garden beds with soil and plant our summer crops!

All students and their families — siblings, too! — are invited to roll up their sleeves, get their hands dirty, and learn the basics of garden bed prep and planting.

This is the first of many garden events happening over summer break. Be sure to join the @Washington Elementary Garden Committee to stay in the loop about upcoming care and harvest meet-ups.

We’re sowing the seeds for a bountiful harvest! Picky eaters and curious minds alike will love the hands-on experience.

All of our produce is grown organically, hand-harvested, and donated to local community food pantries.
