CREATE YOUR OWN BOOK! with Sharon Merrill

Create your own book! Sharon Merrill will help participants use the blank books we are providing to design, write and illustrate their own book.
On July 9th, participants will plan out their book. What story do they want to tell, with what characters, living where? Or do they wish to tell a true story? Something from their lives or someone else's? What illustrations/drawing should their story include? And where should they be in their book?
On July 16th, everyone will begin to write their story, using their previous "storyboard" to decide where their text is going.
On July 23rd, the focus will be on the book's art work, helping the authors tell the stories they wish to tell.
July 30th is the event's make-up day, helping people complete their books, especially if they missed a previous afternoon of the program.
