What does this workshop cover?
This is an exciting 3 week workshop where you will leave with an incredibly unique garment made from fabric that you have created from scraps!
Week one you will learn the technique of using scrap fabrics to create your own fabric, a technique similar to paper piecing patchwork method. Once you’ve learnt this method of creating fabric, in week 2 and 3 we will begin using it to make a tie front waistcoat/body warmer.
Please note that this course runs from the 18th November for 3 weeks, 10am to 12.30pm.
Who the workshop is suitable for
A good knowledge of using a sewing machine is essential for this workshop.

What do you need to bring along
Sewing machine,
Basic sewing kit (pins, fabric scissors, thread)
Fabrics, you are welcome to bring your own selection of scrap fabrics/old shirts/duvet covers etc, but some can be provided.
Other things you need to know
The workshops at LilyBoo have bought together people for a chat, to learn something new and there is always lots of laughter. Please note that the workshops are held upstairs’ once upstairs the bathroom and kitchen are on the same floor.
