CHOOSE JOY Summer concert

Inspiration for the concert theme Choose Joy came from the idea that we can choose to be happy and gain moments of joy in our lives, even in the darker times. The musical selections reflect this in a number of different ways, from the titular piece “Choose Joy,” to “Put on a Happy Face,” to “Happy Everything,” which celebrates a number of different holidays and special events. Other song selections were chosen for how they make you feel, like the dances in Ritmos de la Tierra and the warm and beautiful hymn from Holst’s Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity. We hope you will come and enjoy some Joy with us!
