Whānau Make Day - Celebrating Matariki

Join us for a special FREE craft day to celebrate Matariki! Come together with whānau and community as we honour the Māori New Year through the traditional art of harakeke (flax) weaving.

Learn how to create your own Matariki star using natural materials and discover the stories and meaning behind this beautiful practice. All materials provided – all ages and skill levels welcome!
