I'm delighted to announce Eric Jorissen's return to Malta THIS VERY MONTH, and his fabulous workshop topics on the 13th and 14th of June!

Eric is an effervescent, eloquent, efficient, inspiring, encyclopedic, hilarious genie of tango, who teaches worldwide and lives in the Netherlands. He earned a Masters in Dance Education at Rotterdam Conservatory in 1984. He studied tango in Buenos Aires in the mid 80s! and began teaching tango in 1987, with the blessing of the great Pepito Avellaneda. In 1987 he founded El Corte, a wonderful tango center which has made the Dutch city of Nijmegen a worldwide tango destination.
El Corte attracts thousands of happy visitors each year. Eric loves to work with mixed-level groups and is skilled at getting students with different amounts of experience to enjoy working together. His classes are always superfun, precise, inspiring, surprising, and enlightening. He carries the history and traditions he soaked up in the Buenos Aires scene of the 80s, then still barely touched by foreigners. Eric is one of the very best tango teachers in the world, and we are very lucky that he likes to visit Malta! He transmits the history and culture of tango without lecturing, keeps everyone moving and working on the skills that we need to dance tango beautifully and expressively.
