Virginia Master Naturalist Monthly Hikes

Meet at the Pleasant Grove Park Equestrian Parking Area.
Join us for a fall nature walk on the Birding Trail! Did you know that birds fly over Fluvanna County by the thousands during fall migration? Find out how meadow habitat provides crucial support to birds during seasonal migrations, and how it supports other wildlife in the fall as well. We will walk about a mile on this relatively flat grassy trail.

Children MUST be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Please wear appropriate hiking attire, good walking shoes, no flip-flops and no crocs! Please bring a full water bottle and a snack.
