Barn Quilts are historical and can have many meanings. Western NY is the home to many wonderful barn quilt trails. Our mission is to help expand those trails and have a dream to create a Barn Quilt Trail group on the Erie Canal in Wayne County.
So, we are introducing our "Barn Quilt" Classes at our event space called Fig Hollow Barn. The dimensions of this painted "quilt" is 2 feet x 2feet. This size is ideal for a porch or a wall in your home.
This class is on Sunday, August 17, 2025 @ 10 AM
Class will max out at 15 people.
We have a minimum of 6 people. If we cant hit the minimum amount of people for the class then unfortunately we will have to cancel and refund your order.
Participants must also be 15 years or older.
Pre-registration is required and it is for one date and we will close a class one week prior to its date so we have ample time to prep the boards.
There are multiple designs available at check out to choose from. You need to choose one per person when registering.

We will be getting these on our website this week and promoting them on social media. The class will be about 6 hours in length and lunch will be provided. (Most likely Pizza)
The class will be $150 per person.
Here is the workshop description. Unlike making a fabric quilt, this is your chance to create a unique and special piece of history to display proudly on your home, barn, shed, porch or even hang in your home. And the best part is that most of the Barn Quilt Art is created in one day. Instant gratification is amazing and you will not stop at just one.
For a typical 2 foot x 2 foot barn quilt, the class would be 6 hours.
What is provided:
• Barn Board, cut to size, primed with basic grid depending on project
• All paints and brushes to use during class instruction • Pencils for finishing grid pattern where needed
• Cutting tools to use when design calls for trimming area
• Instructor expertise, guidance and tips for creating your masterpiece
• Lunch will be provided (Most likely be pizza)
What you must bring for the class:
• Hair dryer with a cool setting
• Roll of Yellow Frog Tape (for delicate use) _ Make sure to bring the color yellow tape that is .94 width. (You can find this at Sherwin Williams or even on Amazon) you can find it for normaly $7 but the instructor will be selling rolls at the class for $9 if you forget to buy some before the class.

• Apron or other clothing that you will not mind getting “painted”
