Annotation Collaboration Meeting

Join us for our Book Bar Annotation Collaboration! This will be the first of a series of meetings where we will dive into the annotating process, which includes the use of notes added to a text that help readers engage with the material! Whether you're just curious about it, have been annotating for forever, or would like to get more into it, this is a great collaborative opportunity to share ideas for a better reading experience, learn different note-taking methods, actively engage with books, and meet fellow book lovers.

This first meeting will be spent discussing what annotation is, different options for annotating, and why it's useful. Please feel free to bring any books, short stories, poems, etc. that you have annotated (completely optional) as examples for the group to check out.

During the meeting, we will select a work to read as a group and explore for future Annotation Collaboration meetings. The work will be read and annotated over the course of several meetings, divided up into sections so we can take our time with the process.

No pre-registration is required for this first meeting. Just come out if you're curious to see what it's all about and you can decide if annotating is right for you!
