Summer Butterfly Walk

Deering Estate is home to several rare species of butterflies.

Enjoy a guided Butterfly Walk and explore various habitats in search of the Ruddy Daggerwing, Dina Yellow, & Atala as well as the nearly 40 species of butterflies that are onsite.

Guests are encouraged to document their flora & fauna findings on the iNaturalist app. (Available on Google Play and App Store).

All guests, including Deering Estate Foundation Members, are required to sign-up at the Main Gate before the tour begins in order to ensure their space. Space is limited.
