St. Stephen - The First Martyr, Sunday Service

All are welcome to attend this Sunday's 9:00 a.m. service, led by Elaine Savage and Mark Rainier. Mark Rainier will speak to us about St. Stephen. Stephen was a leader in the Jerusalem church and the first Christian martyr. He was one of seven men chosen and approved by both the Twelve and the community for the daily distribution of food. It is generally felt that the appointment and ordination of these seven men was the origin of the office of deacon.
