Body Talk - Rural Dance Movement Workshops

Body talk supports anyone wishing to improve their body awareness, comfort in their body and overall wellbeing; Alex is a registered Dance Movement Therapist and Somatic Movement Educator with over 20 years of experience in supporting people of all shapes and sizes to enjoy movement.

We practice a range of exercises that develop mindfulness in the body, and have fun with different movement themes each week which extend our movement range and also support connection between the group; All levels of physical ability are supported through use of chairs and props to support comfort in movement.

Alex is an experienced trauma informed practitioner and creates a safe and supportive environment for people of all backgrounds.
