Beginners Burlesque

Always wanted to try burlesque? Wildfire Beginners is the perfect place to start!

This term, we’re taking a spooky twist with a zombie-inspired routine that you’ll have the option to perform at our Halloween Showcase on Saturday 11th October. No dance experience is required just come as you are, ready to move and have fun.

Over 8 weeks you’ll learn classic burlesque moves like bumps, grinds, shimmies, and walks, as well as a full routine. You’ll also get a taste of burlesque history and modern style, all in a safe and supportive environment.

When: Mondays starting 18th August
Time: 7PM – 8PM
Where: Palmerston Recreation Centre

Wear something comfortable and stretchy, and bring heels if you like (socks are fine too)
