Summer Botany Hike #7 April Bowl/Hatcher's Pass

This Saturday we have a special treat for everyone, join us for a hike led by our club President Jaime Rodriguez. We will meet at 9:00 am at the Trunk Road Park and Ride and will carpool up to Hatcher Pass from there. Plan on about 4 hours.
The hike will be about two miles long and about 700 feet of elevation gain. Aside from exploring for flowers, we will also be looking collect seed of our favorite alpine plants.

What to bring:
Small backpack
Hiking boots or shoes
Bear spray
Rain/Wind jacket and an extra layer for warmth
Plant identification guidebooks if you have some. (we can share)
Seed Collecting gear: (Small paper and Ziplock bags, Sharpie marker
Small water bottle
Snacks
