One Way Hike: Crevasse Moraine to Matanuska Lake

About the event and what to expect:
Join Revel Treks and Tours for our second event in our field trip series - a one way hike from Crevasse Moraine to Matanuska Lake.

Kick off summer with this route that winds through the Crevasse-Moraine trail system, skirts around part of Long Lake, and ends at the Matanuska Lakes State Recreation Area. The easy rolling hills (ancient glacial moraines) of the Matanuska Greenbelt weave through birch, spruce, and cottonwood forests.

Trip Fees:
$69 for Adventure Club Members
$89 for all others

Scholarships are available; please apply on our website.

Parking: Please note that participants are responsible for paying relevant parking fees.

Where: Matanuska Lakes State Recreation Area

* One-way hike with return transportation
* Difficulty: Easy to moderate for most hikers
* Distance: Approx. 5.5 miles
