Planning commission meeting (rezoning for Buc-ee's)

The Planning Commission will be reviewing the current obsolete commercial and community commercial designations of the proposed Buc-ee’s site and will determine if this should be rezoned for Buc-ee’s use. Take the time to read the Palmer Lake Master Plan which outlines the desires of the people including a dark sky ordinance, sign height restrictions, and no big box or franchise stores. Buc-ee’s rezoning will allow for a planned development that will allow them to deviate from the Master Plan, including the implementation of a 100 ft lighted sign (12x higher than the Master Plan limitations)! Come to the meeting with your Master Plan notes and encourage the Planning Commission to deny rezoning to Buc-ee’s!
