THE DETAILS:

• Leader: Kurt Leuschner, Professor of Natural Resources, College of the Desert, Ornithologist
• Date and Time: Friday, July 18, 10:30 am- about 12:30 pm ( see on purchasing Tram tickets and arriving on time) Remember receive a 20% discount on Tram tickets.
• Meet at: 3rd floor terrace at the top of outdoor stairs one floor up from the 2nd floor Mountain Station tram terminal. Look for Kurt pictured below. If you cannot attend please cancel online as soon as you know. Preparation: At least 1 liter of water, sturdy shoes, snack, binoculars (also available to loan free at 1st floor Visitor Center) Hat, sun screen, bird check list (available at the NHA Visitor Center).
• Hike Level: Easy, mostly trail walk
• Class Size: Limit: 12
• Registration: Each individual attending must be registered with their own name. A registered name occuring more than once will be considered an error and cancelled.
• Release of Liability: You will need to sign a Release of Liability form which can be accessed for reading on line at You can print and sign in advance or it will be provided by your hike leader to sign when you meet.
