The Unseen Woman: A Journey Through Somatic Movement

"The Unseen Woman" is an invitation to uncover and embody the parts of you that live beneath the surface — the parts too quiet, too wild, too tender to speak. Through expressive dance and somatic movement, we’ll explore what your body knows, remembers, and longs to release.
Together, we will move through the archetypal phases of womanhood — Youth, Adulthood, Elderhood — allowing each stage to speak through your body.
This is not a dance class. There is no choreography. Only your truth, your breath, and your movement.

> Community connection – a temporary tribe, strong and honest
> A chance to meet yourself — the version you rarely let others see

Your guides:
Liudmyla Shulga – Body-oriented gestalt therapist & psychologist from Ukraine. She brings deep listening, playful creativity, and a passion for movement, healing touch, and self-expression. To find out more, please click here.
Kateryna Aloshyna – Ukrainian choreographer, director and co-founder of the Art Educational Platform “Contemporary Dance Laboratory” (NPC in Paarl), currently living in SA and actively promotes cultural cooperation between South Africa and Ukraine. Wear black clothing that allows you to move freely and feel beautiful – dresses, leggings, or layers welcome.
(Optional: if black feels too closed, you may choose deep earth tones or rich jewel colours – something that reflects your inner world.)
You’ll be asked to share a bit about yourself and your intention for the session. We’re curating a safe, intentional space.
Join us in movement, mystery, and memory.
Each participant will receive professional, artistic photographs of their process, captured by Kateryna Fedkina. These images are a gift: a mirror of your body’s wisdom and your personal journey through movement. We may also use testimonials and photo fragments (with your permission) to inspire other women to step into this transformative space.
