About the event

Honoring Our Ancestors - Celebrating Freedom and Resilience

Inviting Facebook Friends and Members of the Ebenezer A.M.E. Church Poetry Ministry to SAVE THE DATE (Friday 6/20) and come celebrate Juneteenth with the Ebenezer Poetry Ministry when we present Patrick Washington as the Featured Poet at "HONORING OUR ANCESTORS: CELEBRATING FREEDOM AND RESILIENCE."

The celebration takes place from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, 7707 Allentown Rd., Fort Washington, MD. 20744. The Ministry's own Anointed P.E.N.S. will be joined by The Malcolm X Drummers and Dancers and The Psalmists of Solomon. A free-will collection will be accepted. Food will be served. This celebration opens with an African drum call and concludes with an Open Mic. All ages are welcome.
