Dear Nature Volunteers,
Here's one of our Saturday tasks -- at short notice!
The Trap Grounds have asked us to create a new access path into the extensive reed-bed that runs along the north bank of the water course that flows through the site.
We'll take on the main part of this work in the task scheduled for September 7th but before then we need to do some preparatory work to clear various obstructions -- specifically fallen crack willow boughs and invasive buddleia. That's the job for today, along with some exploratory scythe work in the further, denser reaches of the reed-bed to open up some space.
No previous experience is necessary.
Booking is not necessary.

WANT TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER LEADER OR DRIVER?
We're short of task leaders at the moment and we can't carry on without them.
Some of our tasks are much easier to lead than others, so if you're a regular volunteer please consider stepping up to do a bit of leading. Any of the task leaders will be happy to let you shadow them until you're confident you know the ropes. If you are interested, please get in touch - we need more leaders.
