Scarecrow, with Pete Joshua - an Oxford Folk Festival Fundraising Event

Scarecrow performed an excellent set at St Columba's for OFF'25. They bring together the classical music of Rey Lear, folk tunes from David Moore, with jazz and blues influences from Gordon Raitt. The resulting "Scarecrow Sound" offers a widely varied repertoire that is sometimes mellow, sometimes merry and always a pleasure to hear!
Support is from Pete Joshua, a skilled singer-songwriter and guitarist, whose set at the Westgate Library for OFF’25 was described as the ‘discovery of the weekend’ in Nightshift’s review of the festival.
