Join us for a talk with renowned queer and trans scholar Heather Love, who will be revisiting Susan Stryker's iconic essay "My Words to Victor Frankenstein above the Village of Chamounix."
Professor Heather Love teaches English at University of Pennyslvania. She is the author of Feeling Backward: Loss and the Politics of Queer History (Harvard University Press) and Underdogs: Social Deviance and Queer Theory(University of Chicago Press). She is currently working on a new project "To Be Real," funded by the Guggenheim Foundation, concerning the uses of the personal in queer and feminist writing.
