Free Double Feature for National Indigenous Peoples Day

Join us on Saturday, June 21 as we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day, a time to honour the rich traditions, contributions, and cultures of Indigenous Peoples across Canada.

We’re offering two free film screenings courtesy of the National Film Board of Canada. These powerful films highlight Indigenous voices, stories, and experiences:

🎬 1:00 PM – Birth of a Family
A moving documentary that follows four siblings, separated during the Sixties Scoop, as they reunite for the first time.

🎬 3:00 PM – Ninan Auassat | We, the Children
A compelling short film that amplifies the voices and dreams of Indigenous youth.

Both screenings are free and open to all. We also encourage you to explore other local events and celebrations happening throughout the day.
