Creating Your Own Magical Sigil with Lydia Knox

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to design and create your own magical sigil—a personal symbol infused with intention. Sigils are a powerful way to combine art and mysticism, transforming words, desires, and affirmations into unique visual forms. Together, we’ll explore the history and purpose of sigils, then move through a step-by-step creative process that blends symbolic thinking with artistic play.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a finished sigil of your own, along with the knowledge and inspiration to continue the practice as part of your personal creative or spiritual path. No previous art experience is required—just bring an open mind and your curiosity.

Materials required: watercolour set, illustration ink, drawing pens, watercolour brush and something to hold water in for the watercolours. Multimedia paper.
