Join us on November 1 from 7pm – 10pm for a uniquely Canadian evening where art, cuisine, and culture come together in celebration of the Tom Thomson Art Gallery. This exciting evening will be a celebration of Canadian art, highlighting many local and Ontario-based artists in our juried exhibition, Convergence. Guests will have a chance to purchase artworks from that show, enjoy the Group of Seven Canadian-inspired food stations, live music, silent auction, local sips, vault tours, a special toast to Tom, and the opportunity to mingle in the exhibitions.
The Tom Thomson Art Gallery honours the enduring legacy of Tom Thomson, one of Canada’s most influential artists and a profound source of inspiration for the Group of Seven. His iconic depictions of the Canadian landscape have become a cornerstone of our national identity, helping to shape how Canadians see their country and how the world comes to know us. In hosting Palette to Palate, we celebrate not only his legacy but also the ongoing role of the arts in building vibrant communities and a strong cultural future for Canada.
