About the event

June Book Club Celebration in the Park
Readers and Writers Network invite you to the June Summer Book Club Celebration,
Friday, June 27th from 3pm-5pm at the Johnson County parks Strang Park Shelter, (W. 88th and Farley St.) located behind the Johnson County Library - KS Central Resource Library (9875 w. 87th).

We'll have crafts, music, face-painting by Artpertise, abook-themed Scavenger Hunt and FREE Bike Helmets from BikeWalkKC to keep you safe as you ride to Book Clubs this Summer at the different area libraries!

Enjoy a read aloud of Wild Blue by local children's book author of "Adventures Calling" and member of KC Book Beat, Beth Noser; while parents receive helpful tips for dealing with Summertime stress from the Whole Parent Foundation, a local organization offering free mental health support groups for parents.
