Flanders Friday, A Spring Weekend Classic!

Thursday 24th April
Departing the East coast for a late morning shuttle and the thirty minute journey to mainland Europe, with collection points enroute.
Then on to our Hotel for the weekend, the cycling specific Hotel Leopold in Oudenaarde.
Subject to time, and climatic conditions there should be the opportunity for an afternoon tickle in and around Oudenaarde.
Friday 25th April
Bergs, cobbles and more cobbles!
A 55 mile warm up, introduction to the beauty of cycling in Flanders.
Saturday 26th April
After taking advantage of the extensive buffet breakfast, a second foray into the heart of Flanders, the iconic climbs, the cobbles, that make the Ronde van Vlaanderen the worlds stand out one day 'Monument'.
The days parcour will be based on climatic conditions, group ability and the group's goals.
With the added bonus of no crowds!
Sunday 27th April
Leisurely Sunday brunch and the return journey .......
Our hotel is situated just a few minutes walk from the medieval Grote Maarkt, with its extensive range of bars, and varied eating establishments, along with the Centre Ronde van Vlaandren.
As mentioned the hotel is cycling specific and has a separate secured bike store.
Accommodation is based on a twin sharing basis, and includes possibly the best buffet breakfast!?!
£428 per person
Includes transport to and from the hotel, return Le Shuttle crossing.
Three nights accommodation in the Hotel Leopold, Oudenaarde.
