Run for a cause is finally here!
Join us on Saturday, August 16 at 12:00pm at Lansdowne Park, between the Great Lawn and the Aberdeen Pavillion for a day of fun and fitness in support of the for a day of fun and fitness in support of the for a good cause in support of the Rarámuri (Tarahumara) community—legendary long-distance runners from northern Mexico—as they represent their culture and spirit at the 2025 Masters Indigenous Games in Canada.
This friendly race takes part as part of the Masters Indigenous Games 2025 and is open to all! Come run, cheer, and show your support- not only during the race but throughout the Games, where the Rarámuri delegation will be competing in track & field, basketball and artic spports from August 14 to 17.
This event is more than just a race—it's a celebration of resilience, tradition, and cross-cultural solidarity. All proceeds will go toward covering the Rarámuri delegation’s travel, lodging, gear, and other expenses, that's why your voluntary fee is important.
