Full description:
This hands-on workshop demystifies self-tapes—from pre-read prep to final export. You’ll practice on camera, get fast, constructive notes, and learn a repeatable setup you can recreate at home on any budget. We’ll also talk agent/casting expectations, common pitfalls, and how to stand out without overdoing it.

You’ll learn:

• Good framing + eyeline for single- and two-person reads
• Lighting that’s flattering (and quiet!) with lamps or panels
• Clean audio on phone mics & lavs, plus room-treatment hacks
• Slate styles, buttons, and how to adjust takes confidently
• File naming, export settings, WeTransfer/Drive etiquette
• What casting means by “natural,” “grounded,” “button,” and “one more for safety”

Who it’s for: Actors at any level. Readers and reps welcome.
What to bring: Phone (charged), earbuds/lav if you have one, water, a 60–90 sec piece or a recent audition, and neutral top.
Accessibility: Low-pressure, supportive environment. If you need accommodations, please let us know in advance.
