Hunchback of Notre Dame

We open the season with a silent film classic, Lon Chaney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1924). It is presented with a live choral soundtrack by Seventeen Voyces, directed by Kevin Reeves, and accompanied by organist Matthew Larkin, who also provides brilliant improvisations. This hauntingly beautiful fusion of film, voice and organ is our choral tradition that you won’t want to miss.

Music by Vierne, Durufle, Brahms, Poulenc and Orff
