To celebrate the 2025 Week of the Italian Language in the World - which this year is dedicated to the theme Italophony: Language Beyond Borders - the Embassy of Italy in Canada invites you to a special event featuring Italian-Canadian author and past President of the Association of Italian-Canadian Writers, Licia Canton, who will present and discuss her book The Pink House and Other Stories.
Following the discussion, the Italian Embassy will award the winners of the literary contest My first word in Italian, launched among Italian language students at the University of Ottawa.
Light refreshments, including Italian pizza and soft drinks, will follow.
The event will take place at the Meeting Room (2nd floor) of 275 Slater Street, Ottawa K1P 5H9, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
