Join us June 3rd as Darnell reads his book about Donald the Knight, an African American male who is attempting to navigate his environment, all while staying true to his Christian beliefs. His superpower is his ability to represent Christ through his daily lifestyle at an age where many of his peers are embarrassed or too afraid. The theme of being a Knight refers to the concept of living with honor and integrity when it is not the popular thing to do.

"Would You Pass The Test?" is the title of the second book from his 3-part series. Donald is faced with the decision of whether he should copy his friend's homework or take a zero on the assignment. Will Donald give in to the peer pressure of the moment or make his decision being filled with the spirit of self-control?
