VBS 2025-Big & Bold Faith: Pray with Boldness & Confidence

Description: This year’s VBS was constructed by the staff and volunteers at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. “Big & Bold Faith: Pray with Boldness & Confidence” seeks to share the Gospel of Christ through God’s Word with special emphasis on prayer. Scripture teaches us to bring our needs to the Father in Christ’s name. Martin Luther models this by providing a whole section of daily prayers in his Small Catechism. He relied on the testimony of Scripture as a reason to teach and model the place of prayer in the Christian’s daily life. As he puts it in the Small Catechism, God the Father “has commanded us to pray…and has promised to hear us.” (SC, Lord’s Prayer, Conclusion)
