Jaeger Mix: DJ Ost

After many years, I’m genuinely happy to finally welcome a dear friend and one of Oslo’s true originals to the Jaeger Mix series.

This time, I’m inviting DJ Ost - one half of Ost & Kjex and a long-standing pioneer of the Oslo underground - to play a special Jaeger Mix session in the Backyard.

Known through multiple aliases and projects, DJ Ost has been a constant force on the city’s dancefloors, keeping the pulse alive through DJ sets, productions, collaborations and his ongoing podcast work for "The Villa". His energy, curiosity and dedication to the scene are something I’ve deeply admired for years.

For this session, DJ Ost will present his concept from Kafé Hærverk, “DJ Ost spiller treig house”. Expect slow house, stretched grooves and a warm, patient flow where the music takes its time and the rhythm is allowed to breathe.

It truly means a lot to finally share this moment and space together as part of the Jaeger Mix series.
