Welcome to a new Full Moon Gathering with artist duo Martinka Bobrikova & Oscar De Carmen.
Join us under the September Harvest/Corn Moon for a participatory evening of workshops, ritual, and shared connection.
We’ll begin with two short creative workshops:
crafting herbal incense bundles with plants like rosemary, laurel, sage, and cinnamon, each carrying symbolic meaning, and making lanterns, each carrying with them handwritten wishes.
Later, around the fire, we’ll gather for a collective ritual. Sweet/ salty pastries will be offered to Pachamama, and a warm, spiced alcoholic drink will be prepared in a cauldron, briefly ignited as a protective charm before being shared among all. Together we’ll light our incense bundles, ignite the lanterns, and perform a ritual carrying our wishes with the full moon.
This gathering is less about food and more about gestures, togetherness, and ritual under the full moon. For us, the ritual is also a way to connect with the meaning of this moon, blending traditions from various cultures with elements from our own identities and origins.
