The 2025 For Arts Sake Tour on May 31 at 10:00 am or June 6 at 5:00 pm is about Oshkosh's talented men and women buried in Riverside Cemetery. From sculptors to architects to painters, be inspired by the fascinating lives of people such as Helen Farnworth Mears, William Waters, and the Behncke family.
Experience 100 acres of Oshkosh history on a guided tour through Riverside Cemetery, one of Oshkosh's National Register of Historic Places. This tour covers prominent figures from Oshkosh's history and some oddities along the way.
Tours last approximately 90 minutes. Your ticket purchase benefits the Oshkosh Public Museum's mission to preserve and promote history, art, and culture, as well as the Oshkosh Parks Department.
Important Notes + Information:
Many tours sell out in advance. Early ticket purchases are strongly recommended.
Advance tickets are required for admission. No cash or payment is accepted at the Cemetery.
Weather Policy: Tours are not canceled for rain. Tours will be rescheduled in severe weather for the following Sunday at 10:00 am. You will be notified directly via phone and/or email if a tour is rescheduled.
Accessibility Notice: Riverside Cemetery tours may involve traversing uneven, grassy ground and some paved surfaces. For more information, contact us at 920-236-5799.
Parking: Tours meet and begin near the Chapel. Parking is available within the Cemetery. Please park carefully!
