Join Debbie for this 3 week trauma informed series, designed to get deep into the parts of your body that hold the most repressed emotions.
When we experience events that emotionally overwhelm us, we are often unable to process what is actually happening. That unprocessed emotional energy, especially the difficult ones like shame, fear, guilt and rage, end up becoming trapped in the organs, muscles and tissues of the body, leading to inflammation and chronic health problems.
In each 120 min session, Debbie will guide you through various body movements, yoga postures, trauma informed releasing techniques, and coaching, to facilitate you through a complete interconnection and inner dialogue with 3 specific areas of your body. The result will generate a feeling of presence and attunement, along with a sense of feeling seen, which can be deeply gratifying and healing.
Week 1: Hips and Pelvis
We will focus on opening the front and back of the hips and sacral areas, discovering trapped, unprocessed emotions surrounding, but not limited to; survival, lack of safety, lack of confidence, hindered creativity and desires, and loss of self worth.
Week 2: Heart and Chest
We will focus on opening the front and back of the chest and heart space, discovering trapped, unprocessed emotions surrounding, but not limited to; loss/grief, lack of love and affection, loss of trust, and forgiveness.
Week 3: Throat, Neck, Jaw
We will focus on opening the front and back of the throat, neck, and jaw, discovering trapped, unprocessed emotions surrounding, but not limited to; loss of communication, and lack of expression of thoughts, ideas, voice, and speaking your truth.

PLEASE NOTE: This series is a deep dive into your body, mind and emotions and may shift or stir up what is unhealed to the surface for full or partial release. It is recommended that you have a good support system and self care plan for the days and weeks post session(s).
